When micro-mobility brand Lime wanted to make a splash in Central London, they needed a café-quality coffee experience that matched their bold, energetic brand — and could operate seamlessly outdoors across a full activation day.
The Brief
Lime Bikes approached Eventful Beans to deliver a branded mobile coffee bar for a street-level brand activation in Shoreditch. The goals were clear:
- Serve high-quality, barista-made coffee to passersby and press attendees
- Reinforce Lime's brand through a visually striking, custom-branded setup
- Drive social media engagement with a shareable, photo-worthy experience
- Support Lime's sustainability messaging with eco-friendly packaging
Our Approach
Custom-Branded Coffee Cart
We deployed our signature Mobile Coffee Bike, fully wrapped in Lime's signature green with co-branded cup sleeves, napkins, and signage. The setup was designed to stop foot traffic and invite interaction — and it did exactly that.
Signature Drinks Menu
Working with Lime's marketing team, we developed a bespoke drinks menu that tied into the activation theme:
- The Zesty Ride — a tangy yuzu-infused cold brew
- The Classic Commute — a premium flat white with latte art
- The Green Machine — a matcha latte with oat milk
Guests were encouraged to share their drinks using the event hashtag, driving measurable social reach.
Sustainability First
In line with Lime's environmental values, we used 100% compostable cups and lids, ethically sourced Rainforest Alliance-certified beans, and oat milk as the default dairy alternative.
